I am a non-binary, queer, disabled writer and artist, based in Margate, Kent.

I have been exploring my personal relationship with the sea as a survivor whose trauma is located in my bodymind with sounds, sights and smells of the British seaside. This has developed into a collection of texts, sound recordings, drawings and workshops that explore collective healing and expressions of rage and grief, using the voice as an anchor. My exploration into the voice expands on research into queer spirituality, being in the sea as a form of resourcing and co-regulation, relating to the sea as a trans AFAB person, and crip care and access.

My workshops aim to share my personal journey of processing rage and grief by creating a safe space to invite others to feel and express. I acknowledge that globally there are a multitude of traumas and violences centred in the sea and connect to the vast power of the sea and its perceived ability to ‘hold’ such emotions.

I am the Assistant Curator for Margate Pride and co-curate the Pride Art Map, a two week festival of exhibitions, workshops and events centring queer art.

I am the co-founder of Margate Zine Fair, a local zine and self publishing fair celebrating local creatives and DIY forms of publishing. I run zine making workshops with the public and educational groups.

I am open to collaborations and zine or workshop projects. Please get in contact!
